Acer launches Aspire Vero in GCC for eco-friendly clients

The Aspire Vero, Acer’s latest eco-friendly laptop, is now available to consumers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Last year, Acer unveiled a new “Earthion” platform that aims to address environmental issues throughout the world and enhance the company’s sustainability initiatives. Additionally, Matiti Green and Acer Middle East have teamed together to plant 10 trees for every Aspire Vero sold in the Middle East.

The News announced on February 12, 2022

Michele Montecchio, Country Manager of Acer Middle East, commented on the debut of the Aspire Vero in the GCC: “The Aspire Vero has garnered an incredible acceptance within the tech industry as well as the eco-conscious population globally. Additionally, the product sends a clear message to the business that adopting eco-conscious decisions is now an important must. ”

That 30 percent PCR plastic that makes up the Aspire Vero’s (AV15-51) chassis cuts CO2 emissions by 21 percent. PCR plastic keycaps used to make a laptop stand. Bumpers of the notebook sport bright yellow and volcanic grey accents, while the R and E keys have the words “Reduce, reuse, recycle” reversed on them.

All-new Intel Core CPUs with Iris Xe graphics, as well as either 8 or 16 GB of DDR4 Memory and PCIe NVMe SSD storage, are included in the base model. Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C connector, and two Type-A USB ports round out the laptop’s connectivity options.
