Apple will offer “Postpay with Apple Pay” for the United States in “iOS 16” scheduled to be delivered in the fall of 2022.

When US users pay with Apple Pay, they can pay in four installments over a six-week period. Postpay is built into the “Wallet” app and is said to be a seamless and secure payment method. It is interest-free and does not incur fees, but if the user’s debit card account balance is insufficient, the issuing bank of the card may charge a fee.

Postpay with Apple Pay can be used in-store or online wherever Apple Pay is available. If you use it at a store that supports “Track orders with Apple Pay,” you can receive receipts and order tracking information in the wallet app.

The support for wallet keys and ID cards, which can also be used in the United States, has expanded. You will be able to use the ID card in the wallet for apps that require identity verification and age verification. In addition, you will be able to share your home or car key saved in your wallet from apps such as messages and emails.
