Upon arrival for the Commonwealth Day service, the royal family was greeted by a Maori group outside before heading inside. Prince William and Princess Kate attended the event as the Prince and Princess of Wales for the first time, both wearing navy ensembles. Kate paid tribute to William’s parents by donning a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings previously worn by Princess Diana, and the Prince of Wales feathers brooch, a gift from Charles.
